TSTS (TAKUYA SASAKI TEST SAMPLES) is a Japanese brand founded by designer Takuya Sasaki and pattern maker Yurie Isashi.
The brand name "Test Samples" is derived from the "Experimental Test Sample" products that were used for trial purposes and testing before formal issuance to soldiers, signifying TSTS's pioneering approach to clothing creation.
The brand's concept revolves around "Duality." Drawing from experiences in Tokyo and Antwerp, TSTS creates collections infused with humor and social commentary by intertwining an Antwerp surrealistic atmosphere within Tokyo's everyday life.
