2011年、東京を拠点にディレクターの南 勝巳主導のもと発足した、EVISEN SKATEBOARDS（エビセン スケートボード）。日本古来の伝統や文化を用いた独特の和物グラフィック、アートワークを落とし込んだプロダクトを数多くリリース。サポートするチームライダーも国内の精鋭陣が集結し、丸山 晋太郎や上野 伸平らが名を連ねる。東京を拠点としながらも大阪、仙台と国内の主要都市とも密接なコミュニティを持ち、その活動範囲は国内にとどまることなく、世界へも目を向ける。ブランドの根本であるデッキプロダクトはもちろん、スケートボードの本質を追求しながらも、ファッションとしても見事に昇華させた充実のアパレルラインや精力的に製作するフィジカルのプロダクトからも目が離せない。
EVISEN SKATEBOARDS was launched in 2011 under the leadership of Tokyo-based director Katsumi Minami. EVISEN SKATEBOARDS has released a number of products incorporating unique Japanese graphics and artwork based on ancient Japanese traditions and culture. Supporting team riders include Shintaro Maruyama and Shinpei Ueno, who are among the best in Japan. While based in Tokyo, the brand has close communities in Osaka, Sendai, and other major cities in Japan, and its scope of activities is not limited to the domestic market, but extends to the world as well. The brand's core products are of course decks, but they also pursue the essence of skateboarding, while also producing a full line of apparel and physical products that are sublimated into a fashionable look.
